Samy in Netbook slow read

Very strange.I changed my spin drive to ssd samsung 60 gig after reading so much about it.Iam running xp on a netbook.Installed all fresh.first test without changing anything was 130 read and 100 write.Then I changed cach write on disk and index .Now iam getting 120 read and only 40 write.So i can do want i want i dont get anywhere near 200 read.Is it because the netbook is bad or do i miss anything here/Can send any attachment dont know why

You're running XP so there's all sorts of tweaks you need to do to get it working properly. Starting with partition alignment and including disabling defrag - lots of threads round here atm, gotta dash off or would find one (probs on front page)
