San Diego 4.4GHz POST!

I think it is obvious but I must post here more info.
The CPU is aircooled (I don't have any extreme cooling).
It works (SuperPi 32M, OCCT) around 3 GHz (Vcores 1.45 - 1.5 Volts).
For more MHz it needs high voltages the limit is 3080 MHz (stable frequency in Windows).

Imnpressive clock. :)

But yeah... pretty useless. If it's not 24/7 stable for gaming etc then i'm not really excited. :(

Sorry mate, but your motherboard is faking it, no NF4 chipset was ever capable of running at 400MHz, let alone a San Diego working at 4.4GHz, remember the WR for 1meg SuperPi is at 4GHz or so (using LN2), so it's hardly likely it'll really boot running at 4.4GHz on air.

Not as far as I'm aware 350 was about the max I've ever seen and the really high FSBs were usually done using Clockgen in Windows once it had booted.

Haha, I've done something similar with a motherboard and CPU I was testing. Whacked the FSB up in the BIOS to 400 and it always posted.. Took a photo of it on my phone getting some **** poor CPU up to 400FSB, shame it wasn't real...

Very impressive, can you get into windows? ( i cant view the vid)
The stable frequency (OCCT, Prime95) is 3GHz (Vcore = 1.45 - 1.55) depending on the ambient temperature.

nice clock!!!!!! now get phase on it.
It is an old fashion CPU man so I won't buy an extreme cooling system now. Maybe in the future. :)
