Hi guys, I got my Camera over summer and spent a lot of time in fields taking pictures of cows.

Now I want to go a little closer to home, I live about 2 minutes walk from the beach, I know of plenty of interesting things I can take photos of. But the weather is turning, it's windy as hell at the moment and i'm scared of sand getting blown in to my lense and damaging it.

Is this likely to happen? Obviously I will be trying my best to keep sand out (Standing with the wind behind me etc)

But any other advice you can give me on keeping my camera safe outside would be great.

My camera doesnt have interchangeable lens, what size do i need?

Thanks for your help in my threads :)
