Does anyone use this program, and does it do what it says?

It would be great to be able to use this and never have to worry about getting spyware again, or mess around on the school computers without a trace.

Probably easier and more stable to simply use Vista. UAC and protected mode in IE7 are valid implementations of sandboxes.

Not really. I'd have to spend £60, reformat the computer, put up with loads of compatibility issues, have the uac nagging me constantly, and use slow crappy IE7 hoping that microsofts software doesn't fail me yet again .

I tinkered with sandboxie for a bit and thought it did what it said on the tin. Last time I looked it was free too.

I have used it. I found it to be very useful but also very slow... It's good to have if you want to open a program you are not sure about.
I just use a limited user account in XP with a good HIPS firewall so I feel secure enough.
