Sandisk Exteme or Extreme Pro SSD card?

Would I notice any difference on my Sony a77? Will be filming in HD and also high burst shots for sport. I can get the 32GB Extreme for £22 and the Extreme Pro for £56.

I'm not all familiar with the Sony range but a quick google search tells me its the professional range. In your case I would go for Extreme Pro if shooting in highspeed mode on RAW. Filming in fullHD can be sufficient for Extreme cards but for sport photography then the Extreme Pro is the better option.

as some of these so called faster cards arent and a waste of money

Am using a "SanDisk 32GB 45MB/s Extreme HD Video SDHC Card" in my sony HX20

No need for any faster as it faster then USB2.0 transfer speeds anyway
