These are the two partners to so far commit. Who knows what the others are doing at the moment but this is a pre-ord price to ensure you get stock as stock literally will be limited to around 1000 units mixed. These are certainly sure to sell rather fast :)

Tempted to buy one but am being skeptic about its Controller SandForce SF-2281. I remember it had issues in the past so am not sure whether Sandisk managed to fix it with a firmware update... Any news on that one?

All partners have fixed BSOD issues now :)

Lol.. I know what you mean and yes.. small company compared to Sandisk! + Its Async NAND.. cheap nasty NAND compared to sync... it would need to be £70 to make it worth it over this.

Im not saying what you should buy but you know what makes sense ;)

Is this just a 1 day offer? So tempting but don't think I'd be able to order it at the moment.

Looking at updating my rig and the build changes daily with all these special offers going around! :)

This offer stands until stock lands and may even a few days after just to keep everyone smiling :)

I'm going to order one of these. Can anyone explain why my Agility 3 running on a sata 3 controller on my Z68 only manages this... It should be nearly as quick as this drive ??

It uses async NAND not synch NAND. This is how the agility will perform in this test.

OCZ forcast further price drops - correct
Prices even lower - incorrect

OCZ are behind a little on price, thats just how it is. No more price drops for some time. Samsung, Micron and Sandisk control the price of NAND and they have already made their move.

Stock isnt here as yet, I am hoping it will land today, itll certainly be here before the end of the week, tomorrow rather than today as a late point. I Will update this thread when pre-ords ship etc :)

Well, these are supposedly here however due to masses of deliverys wont appear on site as in stocked etc until tomorrow. Drives to customers by the weekend it seems :)
