Whilst eating my Brian Turner BLT sandwich yesterday I was thinking, what actual input does Brian Turner have in to a Brian Turner BLT sandwich.

I mean, it's hardly the first BLT sandwich I've ever had and he obviously didn't invent the recipe, so perhaps he made them.

But then I thought, how could Brian Turner make so many sandwiches, in so many different flavours for so many people.

Then I though, how do companies like Sainsbury’s, Tesco etc make their sandwiches?!

I then came to the conclusion that by today’s standards they must be made by robots.

I did a quick Google search for Sandwich Making Robots and it gave me some results about a robot called Sandwich, but nothing on Sandwich Making Robots.

So, do robots make sandwiches, like they make cars? How are mass produced sandwiches made?

Cheers.

They make one huge sandwich the size of a football pitch then cut it in half to make 2 sandwiches .
Then they repeat the process with the 2 new sandwiches until they have thousands of small sandwiches that fit in the bags.

No, because when you cut 1 sandwich in half, it's still only 2 halves of a sandwich!

Next thing you know you'll be trying to tell me 0.9r doesn't equal 1!

the most automated bits will be:
buttering the bread
possibly cutting the completed sarnie
packaging it

Sandwiches are grown from sandwich seeds. Flavours are determined by the temperature the seeds are grown under, a bit like crocodiles.

Yes, if you know where to go. Strawberry are very hard to come by, chocolate and lime are quite common however.
