Hi guys/gals,

I'm looking for some different and interesting sandwich/wrap filling ideas. I'm used to have Tuna & Mayo, Ham and chicken etc. I need some ideas that are healthy and interesting.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jake

It's called Houmous.

Can no one spell properly anymore?

Wrong.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about the food. For the band, see Humus (band). For the organic matter in soil, see Humus.

Hummus (a transliteration of the Arabic: حمّص‎; also spelled hamos, hommos, hommus, homos , houmous, hummos, hummous, or humus is a Levantine Arab dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic. It is a popular food throughout the Middle East and elsewhere.

:D

Homos and red pepper baguette. Amazing!

Wow, the irony about trying to look smart and all superior ;)... Words transliterated in to English from Arabic often have multiple accepted spellings - e.g. Mohammed, Muhammad, Muhammed... etc.

Personally I like to buy a roast chicken from the rotisserie in the supermarket - you can then cut that up and have it over ~3 days with different sauces. Really good with a pitta and some nando's peri peri.

I recently went through a phase of eating wraps for lunch every day and in my wraps I had... soured cream, shredded deli pork or deli ham, finely chopped cucumber, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of 'crispy onion bits' (you can get them in pots in supermarkets, they're often available in restaurant salad bars, etc).
