Hi there I've seen a video on YouTube showing how the built in gpu on the 2600k (HD3000) can encode eg. Divx 50% faster than the fastest Cuda gpu's egs 460's 580's. What I was wondering is, I'm planning on using a P67 board where the on chip gpu is disabled , il be using a high end gpu for games, would the on chip gpu kick in when I encode films then turn off when I play games? Or will the new feature be redundant?

The benefits of over clocking is you can achieve ultra high end CPU performance for the price of a mid range CPU! Eg 2600k over clocked to 4.5ghz is £230 and on games it's beats i7 980x £750
