Hi evryone

So im upgrading to intel but unsure what chip to go for

I have £200 to spend and thinking of the 2500k or the 3570k

What would be the better option?

Doing mostly gaming and some video editing here and there

Oh how hot are we talking ?

Anyone recommend a decent cooler for around 60-70 quid?

Noctua NH-D14 gets good reviews, though it is very big so you'll probably need low profile memory to fit underneath. IB only gets hot over around 4.6 GHz, below that it is fine in terms of temps. Remember that a 3570k at 4.6 GHz will be roughly the same performance as a 2500k at 4.8/4.9 GHz, at which point the 2500k would be running very hot (given that the latest batches of SB don't seem to overclock very well)
