Id try and stretch to a PRO or Deluxe.. i got the plain one and now kinda wish i splashed the extra 30 quid.
I'm not unhappy with it but.... just kinda feel the basic one always gets seen to last in the BIOS fixes as the true enthusiasts always go for the higher end ones, and they whine the loudest if things are wrong.
. I went for the Delux over the Pro for 2 reasons.Nothing like a free upgrade
Just make sure it's a worthwhile one![]()

Ive just got back from ocuk with :
i5 2500K and Asus P8P67 bundle. Hope i dont regret it![]()
Any issues let us know or trust mail me. What memory you putting in it?
Well we did spend more money. I went for the Delux over the Pro for 2 reasons.
1) The error diagnostic LED is worth the £30 on its own.

Well its all installed and seems to be ok. X-Fi is also working fine which is a relief. Only problem is that ive had to use the stock cooler because i couldnt get the backplate of the H50 off the other motherboard. Its stuck and i cant get it off![]()
just use a sharpe blade and cut as close to the board as you can,its only a sponge so should come of easy or use a hair dyer might work to soften the glue.

I can't see the advantage of the Pro or the Deluxe, I mean how many people buying these will really ever use the second nic and a few more USB ports?
The error LED is a good one, but how often are you realistically going to need this? And without it, surely the motherboard will beep error codes or something similar.
The only downside is waiting a bit longer for BIOS updates, but I'm not that fussed really, the Clear RTC fix worked for the relatively minor cold boot issue and the system is ploughing along just fine at 4.6GHz.
I can't see the advantage of the Pro
Or if its still a little tight a club hammer and chisel. Failing that a Kango![]()
