Spec me a Sandybridge air cooler please!

Quiet and cool are the criteria of course :)

I have had revision 1 and revision 2 of the Scythe Ninja before on older CPUs, so something along the lines of that would be good.

Thanks.

How noisy is the stock cooler, considering I'm getting retail 2600K anyway?

I'm not going to go crazy overclocking, but have never liked the amount of noise the stock coolers have produced

Not that noisy but if you do any amount of overclocking I'd personally want an aftermarket cooler.

Sandybridge coolers are exactly the same as 1156 coolers. So pretty much anything on the market. Take a look at the arctic freezers if you want cheap, jolly and quiet.

I too and in the market for a sandy bridge cooler but I want to overclock a 2600k to about 4.6ghz. Any other suggestions?

I'm also interested in these recommendations, although I have the added requirement of being able to use all 4 RAM slots with G.skill RipJawsX.

If you're not massively overclocking and are on a budget then look at the aforementioned hyper 212+, a zalman cnps10x, or a megahalem off eBay. The last one will give you the best performance.

I bought the Gelid Tranquillo and have been pretty impressed by its cooling so far.
