I use Chrome for some browsing, but it has some antisocial behaviours I'd like to correct -
[ Versus firefox, the one process per tab can make it more robust if web-sites take excessive cpu/memory resources as you can easily kill those tabs ]

Stopping media auto-playing
From utube to news sites,
the chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy seems ineffective.

Preventing tracking URL's.
Ublock origin, that I use, isn't up to it -

I had tried this chrome add-on, but sometimes it stops links working completely when you click https://gitlab.com/KevinRoebert/ClearUrls

Sites using Anti-adblocker retaliation
Several sites now using, increasingly effective mechanisms to prevent viewing the site correctly if you have UblockOrigin engaged, say.
One example is photobucket, but other sites too, will blur images.
yes - you can just go elsewhere, but that would be admitting defeat.
