Anyone having problems using them for online payments tonight? getting declined

At work i find santander are the worst cards for failing in the card readers. Several times they get declined even before its asked the customer for the PIN number.

Dunno about online tho

Had a card for the last 15 years and not had a problem, except when some critter stole my card details. So no. made two payments tonight and all is good. Sometimes it can be down to the lines of communication whereby it fails by default if anything happens in data transit.

Best bet is to ring the bank, maybe they stopped your card?

I've posted many a time about how shocking they are.

Last time this happened i was at a petrol station trying to explain to the bloke behind the counter that i did have money in the account, and that whenever i tried to use a cash machine, it said my bank couldnt be contacted :rolleyes:

Seriously, just leave for another bank. This isnt the first time their system has gone down and it wont be the last.
