Anyone had any dealings with these clowns?

I just tried to change the password on my business banking account, followed their requirements for the new password to the letter, it failed saying the password was invalid. I tried it again and then the page 404'd. So i logged out, tried to log back in and again and my original password wouldn't work...

Called them and I've been told that I no longer have access to my online banking services, I'll now need to wait 4 days for a new password to be sent out!! As a business customer, this is not on.

I have online services with 3 other banks and I've never seen such poor user experience/services - with this level of tech, how am I unable to get access to online banking!!

Trustpilot is flooded with similar reports from them!

Just wait 4 days for your password to be sent, yes it's frustrating but at the same time I'm sure you'd be complaining if they relaxed security and you got robbed.

I have both business and personal accounts with Santander and have never had an issue with them.

The Santander business account is a decent account, but their online banking login wise leaves something to be desired.

It could be worse though, you could be using their mobile app. It's by far the worst app, let alone banking app I've ever come across.

Its very limited. I can't set up new payments or pay my credit card off unless i go through their main site.
And half the time it doesn't let me log in.
I'll be changing banks soon though.

New payments need that 'one time pass' which seems to be in case you lose your phone and prevents transferring all the funds out, or so I would assume. Can't say I've ever had an issue logging in really.

I may change at some point with the 3% interest being removed. Nothing that enticing that I've seen as yet though.

What's wrong with the mobile app? Never had an issue with it.

It really pales in comparison to the best apps.

It looks like it was designed for the very first iPhone. It's appearance is terrible.

Going beyond that though, there are a few things.

1) Not touchID/fingerprint login
2) No automatic tabbing when entering password or security number
3) No numeric keypad when entering security number
4) Can't set up/pay new payees. Any talk of security is rubbish here - All challenger banks have this and even Barclays rolled it out, and if someone randomly knows your details they log in online anyhow.
5) Limit linking of products - want to access your Santander Credit Card or pay it off then you need to use a web browser (again Barclays have got this down)
6) I should have added this one at the beginning, you need to tap after opening the app to even begin the login process. Every other banking app automatically opens at the login stage, but Santander thing you might equally want to see some product adds or find a branch instead of logging in.

Grrrr. I just changed from Android to an iPhone due to some of the apps. Oh well.

2,3,4 and 5 all available on my iPhone version of the app. 1 and 6 would be nice, but not deal breakers. Maybe it's different for business accounts since I've only got personal accounts with them.

Apple / Android pay aside, I didn't know there were banking apps. I just use the desktop site via Firefox when I'm out and about on mobile, securing it with privateinternetaccess VPN.
