hi guys

the last 2 days ive been getting black and white vertical lines when i play any game

the pc will just lock up completely for 10 seconds while this is on the screen

then it will restart itself

all temps etc are fine

thats not my picture but its exactly the same thing as mine does

ive reseated the card also and the problem remains

any ideas

?

im using the latest drivers

and no, the card isnt overclocked. i was thinking about doing it the other day but im glad i didnt now lol
 
hmmmm
that mobo features onboard graphics does it not? have you tried running games with just the board gfx?

if not, then it sounds and looks like you have a bad card, do you have another machine to try it in? or a spare card to try?
 
don't think formatting your HDD would do much, how old is the card, i'd get in contact with the company or manufacturer to arrange RMA personally :)
 
RMA it then, where did you buy it? if here, you can RMA through Ocuk for the first year if memory serves, after that it has to be with the manufacturers :)
