the new toxic 7970 from saphire will have 6 yes 6 gb of vram.

realy is there any point in having 6gb of vram ? cant see the point unless your your running like 6 screens in eyefinity or am i missing somthing lol,well at least its a card for all those who harp on about vram

Yeah, no idea what on earth people are talking about, a 250W TDP 7970 + 3gb memory = 275W max....

GPU = huge power, memory = meh, overall marginal difference.

2gb 560ti vs 1gb card, almost no difference, 1gb 6950 vs 2gb6950, almost no difference, etc, etc.

Would need watercooling...... lol.

I'm sure there'll be some people claiming that less than 5GB VRAM is not enough because X game has crammed their 6GB card full of data/textures to save a few seconds of waiting during loading screens.
