sapphire 290x tri x help please

Got my sapphire 290X triX today
Not use amd gpu before only Nvidia, so a complete noob with this.
The card only shows 1010mhz in gpu-z and it should be 1040mhz.
Is this right or have i done something wrong.

I believe the 1040 is what you get with the boost mode by installing the software that comes with it. Anyhow you could easily manage that and even a higher clock yourself on stock voltage via MSI Afterburner so no point really.

I know this happens with the msi but cant find it with the sappire,
Just thinking i got sent the wrong card as the saphire have a 1010mhz model.
The box has nothing on it that would state this.
And as i am a complete idiot when it comes to amd gpu's

Just use MSI Afterburner (beta 18).

I've not got a problem with the card

Use MSI Afterburner Beta 18 to set the clocks. Leave overdrive disabled in CCC. Set +50% power limit in afterburner and away you go.

all done, so 1010mhz is normal
