So close to a 5870 price-wise I don't see the point.

It's the very best 5850 on the market and has plenty of headroom for a decent overclock. Also with the poor dollar rate at the moment this has not helped with the pricing. But in my poinion it is the best 5850 available.

The best quality one perhaps, I doubt its any good in the performance:price ratio. The cooling is awesome, overclock is not decent enough though. I think 99% of 5850s will achieve higher overclock with stock voltages doing it in ATI Overdrive...

you would have to be mad to pay this for a 5850 however much headroom / OC potential it has...

Simply too close to 5870

Sorry ocuk but have to disagree....

So this is why there is no reasonably priced 5850 Vapor-X coming out - Sapphire realised how popular the series was and rebranded then price hiked... shame...

Anyone know when the stock Sapphires will come back in stock?

Looking like Monday delivery now.

Still waiting on the Silverstone ST45SF to go with a 5850, then i'll be buying one. Tempted by this but it does seem a little expensive for what it is, especially given the performance of the stock 5850 cooler.

Out of interest, how does it compare in length to the standard 5850? Same, more, or less?

Very very nice

hopefully I get my new job/apprenticeship ;p get paid more than my part time job and per week with no dealt :p

toxic edition = vapor x?

only reason you'd buy one is if none of the others would be in stock and you are not patient.

i'm with the above ppl, i'd probably go for 5870 as well. The purple touch does not do it for me, should have been dark blue.

Very tempted and great looking card but the Powercolor PCS+ 5850 can be had for £225 with similar clocks and cooler.

I'm just not sure the better warranty is worth £45 ?
