Sapphire 5850 Boot Problem - Solved

I posted a month or so ago about a boot problem since installing my Sapphire 5850. The problem was that the card did not initialise first time round and the BIOS beeped and then rebooted without problem or intervention (I had to set BIOS to ignore errors).

Since upgrading to my new build the problem has gone so I am confident the issue was with my old motherboard and not the video card.

Im sure someone else solved it by buying a new mobo as well, does seem to be the older boards having the probs, and ive had none at all, anyway, glad you got it sorted

Yes 100% exactly same problem.
