Quick Question about the Sapphire 7850

Just ordered it from OCUK at a nice price of £179.99 been wanting a new graphics card for ages.

However im currently running 2 monitors with DVI and i was just wondering does the package contain adaptors as i have just noticed the graphics card has only 1 x DVI output.

Thanks

Ok my 7850 just arrived and i checked in the box , but it doesnt seem to have this adaptor.

Is it missing or do i need to purchase something else ?

Problem solved i thinks , i ordered a HDMI to DVI Cable for a few quid from the rainforest.

Ill run just the one screen for the moment.

were there three cables? im sure they come with dvi cable vga and could be display port to dvi or hdmi im not sure

It came with the crossfire bridge , DVI to VGA convertor , minidisplayport to HDMI and 4 pin molex to 6 pin power cable.

Ah well.

The minidisplay port adapter is to normal display port, I thought it was HDMI but was a little peeved to find out it wasn't!

Noticed a big improvement in performance?

I'm running a 6870 right now and thinking of buying one of those sapphire 7850s this week

Just installed the card , only can use one screen though , but fired up Diablo 3 and it seems to run a bit smoother , cant tell the FPS as the current patch is bugged.

I would say depends on what games you are playing , if ya 6870 is coping ok with them , then i dont think there is much point from a 6870 to 7850

For reference , i did a quick bench on 3dMark11 and got P5295 which is roughly i think it should be. i have a old i7-930 though
