ps overclocked to 3 .36 i did have a file from overclockers to get it up to 4 but i lost the file!

Have you tried different games to rule out a possible driver/engine bug that tanks the gpu in War thunder as it's in beta?

If it's fine on other titles, then it's game related.

What kind of gpu cooler was on your previous gpu-did it blow the air directly out the back of your pc or did it dump it in the case?

What case do you have and is there any exhaust fans on it?

Post a thread in customer service, they may be able to send you a copy.

As Tommy says - try other games to rule that out.

The default fan profile should stop it from getting too warm - what kind of temperatures are you seeing?

Thanks guys ok i have a Antec 900 gaming case and my old gfx was a 5850 I have tried running BF3 on all ultra settings and gfx get up to 65-70 c

65-70c is perfectly normal, you said the temps from the PC are hot, is this internally or getting vented?

If BF3 was running as it should(no dips in the same manner as WT) then it's possibly something else.

Is the heat generated when you play WT the same when playing BF3?

Are you sure it was the gpu to blame?

The cpu could be the culprit, bugs can push the cpu to unnecessary high levels of usuage, if the cpu is getting too hot, it could be throttling back, you should monitor your cpu temps as well as your gpu temps to narrow done the cause of the problem.

Get yourself gpu-z and core temp and enable file logging, fire up WT/BF3 and compare temps between games and help narrow the cause-while remembering it still might be a game issue before ripping your PC to bits.

Check the WT forums for any similar issues as well(I'm not doing it for you ;)).
