Probably a sticker on the cards HSF that says "Sapphire" with some half-naked sci-fi chick.

in general,
it's usually the case that a "value" or "ati" or "nvidia" card that isn't branded tends to be the refference card design, with standard HSF setup (usually loud, but not always true) and are usually backed by only a 12month warranty.
In most (not all) cases, a branded gfx card frm the like of sapphire, msi,asus etc. These can have better coolers, which tends to be quieter (but not always the case). The main point is that the branded gfx cards tend to have 2years or more warranty and from my recent experience (although with an XFX card) it can be worth the investment.
