Sapphire Atomic 2GB and i7

can someone tell me if the sapphire atomic 2gb ddr5 gfx card (water cooled unit) is comptible with the i7 processor at all? Or if there's a bracket etc etc thanks

The 4870X2?

I see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't work fine in any X58 board. Hence, it should be fine with i7.

I know the ati 4870x2 will, but this model has some abiguity;

Right, I see what you mean now.

It looks a lot like a modified ASETEK LCLC, so maybe a corsair H50 1366 mount will work.

However, getting a single RAD to cool a 4870X2 and a 130W (stock) CPU is a massive task - I certainly wouldn't want to be cooling my i7 this way. Could you just leave the cpu block bit unattached and use another cooler on the CPU instead?
