Sapphire Fire PSU 625W problem

I just received one of these this morning and it seems to be DOA. It lights up the motherboard led so is obviously supplying some power, but when the power button is pressed the fan led lights up briefly and my gpu fan tries to turn. I've tried it in two systems that both work with my old Hiper 425w PSU so I'm pretty certain the problem is with the PSU.

Before it's RMA'd is there anything else I can check to try and get it to work?

Does sound like a faulty unit, especially as you have tried in another system.

RMA. Had a similar problem with a unit not long ago, not sure what the issue was but I wasn't impressed as the PSU was already a RMA replacement.
