Hello everyone. I'm new here and I come for a reason. I trust it the knowledgeable (is that even a word?) patrons of this forum can help me out.

Very simply: what do the cards mentioned in the title come bundled with? From what I've learnt, there are at least 2 different kinds of retail-bundles (one ending with -40R and the other one -50R), both going by the monicker "full retail". In addition to these, there are the "lite-retail/bulk" -packed cards which quite obviously don't come bundled with much anything.

The real core of my question is, do all the -40R and -50R -marked bundles come with the voucher for Valve's Black Box? I REALLY REALLY need to know, as this is what my ultimate decision boils down to.

Ta ta in advance.

Please tell me you actually know Knowledgeable is a word,a nd you were just messing around?!

I think they only way to find out for sure would be to contact the etailer/retailer and ask.

Is there any price difference between the 2 types??.

I've just check some sites and I even see a 20R for all thats worth.

As far as I know, -20R is the "bulk/lite-retail" -version. Retailers/etailers are not likely to know squat since these cards haven't been around by bucketloads so far, and the material they've received from the manufacturers seems to be less than adequate (judging by some glaring errors in the given specs). I was thinking, maybe those who have received their cards already could shed some light on this?

Oh, and I'm not a native speaker so tend to get lost with some of the finer nuances of the lingo from time to time. Knowledgeable. Yes yes, it sounds right.

^ ...and up ya go. Come on people.... I know some of you have received your Sapphire 3870s already... What did it come bundled with?

Mines was 20R and came with the usual cables/dongles. No software or games, not that I care because I'd rather pay less than get games I own or do not want to play.

Ok, cheers, so it seems that the first patch from OCUK were -20Rs then. This topic is of interest for me as around here, the price-difference between bulk and retail -packed versions is negligible. Furthermore, getting a bundle with free Black Box would save me the 30-odd squids I'd spend on the Orange Box, thus playing a major role as I'm trying to decide which card to get.

Ok can confirm this now: retail-packed Sapphire 3870s do indeed come with all the bells 'n whistles as well, including a voucher for Valve's Black Box.
