Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX £899

How do these compare to a 4080?

Comparible in rasterisarion performance (XTX very slightly ahead). A little behind them in Ray Tracing, VR, AI, upscaling. XTX had more vRAM and a bigger memory bus. 4080 a bit more power efficient.

Seems like the deal if the day!
Great card, fantastic build quality, zero coil whine and quieter under load than my old 3080 FE with a considerable boost to fps@4K with way smoother frame times.

It's slightly shorter than a Nitro so easier to fit if space is an issue and comes with Starfield.

Still trapped by indecision between this and the Zotac 4090. Value (if you can call it that) Vs outright performance.

I'd argue the 7900XT for £699 + Starfield is a better deal. (If you can call it that)

The 7900XTX is a fantastic piece of kit, but it's not £200 better than the XT imo.

I already have Starfield so that is a moot point for me. Yeah it's about £100 better, but it's in-stock and slightly more future proof. That's my thinking anyway.

You should be able to sell the code on for £35-45, they're currently going for £35 on the members market.

Recoups some of the cost and you should get a code for the 7900XTX too if you pick one up.
