Sapphire Vs ASUS

Asus are behind with stocks for the 5850's and the 5870's. Sapphire have brought stock out wheras Asus haven't. But, Asus cards have longer warrenty and can overclock more than any other brand due to the bios on the cards.

I just bought a Sapphire 5850...did I make a mistake? :(

i dont think u have, i initially set out 2 buy this one and from others who have the item are happy with it, im just looking elsewhere now because stock levels are poor! where did u buy it if u dont mind me asking? was it in stock?

Not at all. I have bought Sapphire cards for years, they are my preferred manufacturer.

They usualy are my preferred Manuf aswell :)

I only went for 2 x Asus 5770s this time as they had a years longer warranty and voltage tweak!

Sapphire's parent company produces all the cards. Warranty, bios and stickers is the only thing that's different about the cards until the manufacturers start to make their own variations.

My last 4 or 5 cards have all been sapphires and I have had no issues with them, I currently have a sapphire 5870 on order so that shows what I think of them :)
