Core was at 1.17v and memory at 2.25v :eek:

Just scraped 9.8K but it's one of the best scores i've seen from an XL :D

Great score, although I wouldnt trust 1.7v going through the core :P
Beats my X1800XT by 700 points - but then I am at stock and with a 2.7ghz cpu.

But er yeah - nice aircooled result for sure :)

Really? Dude.... dont make me hate you more than I already do? :D
What program do you use to adjust the core voltage? I wouldnt mind lowering down the voltage on my XT as I wanna see if I can game without it spinning up :)

I use ATi Tool as you can see in the screenshot. The latest versions support voltage adjustment on the X1800 Series :)
 
hmmm just looked at the voltage ati tool gives.... 1.275v on the core.
Does the card have two different sets of voltages (like 2D/3D speeds).... or just one set voltage?
 
cool overclock....got 9450 points wit my xl at 675 / 675 and 3gig 146. Can't remember what the exact volts were but i know they were the stock xt volts. Had a zalman on as well. The system wasen't optimised though. Most xl's seem to clock really well once you put some juice through them.
 
blimey wouldn't trust 1.744 going through my san diego on air, you got that insured? i wouldn't even put that through my old Barton. very nice overclock though.

i only get 9700 as per my sig gfx at 690/800.

imagine my sd will last a bit longer than yours though ;)

A random name - you telling me you think it's fine to shove 1.744 through a SD on air? What temps do you get to on load - you hit 60 degrees yet?

that's almost 0.4 volts over stock. i've seen people on phase using less than that.
 
its risky thats for sure..... but then again its his cpu :)
if its just for a one off bench then i guess it will be ok.... but a 25% increase in core voltage is nothing to be sniffed at :P

At full load i hit 37 degrees.

I've had 1.8v going through my old 3500 chip, and it was perfectly fine after. As stated before, you're just a big girl :p

Well unless you have a delta or something, then I guess its pretty unlikely.
More likely that your mobo is just reporting way too low than u being untruthful :)
