Sapphire X1950pro 256mb PCI-e
Bought one of these back in november from OC'ers to replace my nvidia 6600gt. On arrival, I discovered it required a 450w psu with 12v @ 30A. I only had a 420w Levicom with 12v @ 22A.

It seemed to be idleing hotter than most other peoples (56-59c) and occassionally black screened when highend gaming, so I put it down to being underpowered (+ maybe rubbish stock cooler).

I then bought a Thermaltake Power Express 250w graphics psu and a AC Accelero X2 cooler to cover myself. I had to buy the VRM (Voltage Regulators) cooler from Arctic Cooling parts store in HongKong. Overheating VRMs on the Sapphire forum was claimed to be a big prob on x1950pros.

Now, I cant even run 3dmark for more than 10mins without the blackscreen, the VRM sink is boiling and I dont get the screen back until I wait for it to cool & then reset the machine.

Getting so sick of this card + money I've spent on it (£135 + £25(psu) + £15(accelerox2). Could have bought better card in hindsight. Being over 4 months on, do I have any rights to return it, if I put the stock sink back on? Any other recommendations?

Tempted to sell it, plus my opteron165 etc and just build a new c2d system and a non sapphire gfx card.
