Sat 11/3/06 - Football Images

Took a few last weekend and submitted these to the local press. I am sure at least two will be used. This is only my second attempt at shooting footie.

Any tips or comments on sports photography most appreciated.

Last one is great. First one I like also, #2 needs a little fake DOF by blurring out the distracting banners at the back.

Nice shots Would you mind sharing any tips or EXIF info you have on these pictures as I am shooting some football in a couple of weeks and need to start thinking about how to go about doing it.

Anything would be good.

I think most of these are taken in Tv mode @ 1/1000 s. Some were at ISO 100 and others up to ISO 400 to maintain the shutter speed. Eventually as the light dropped, I went to P Auto and took my chances.
