Any clear winners in this price bracket?

Ideally I want:

Nice big screen
Responsive
Fast
Accurate (obviously)
Easily updated

You'll probably cover all of those bases with a TomTom XXL IQ Routes for £150ish. To quote the specs

FEATURES & BENEFITS OF THE TOMTOM XXL IQ ROUTES

Plus, TomTom seem to be regarded as one of the best sat navs in general, being very accurate.

I've got a new job that involves a lot of driving and bought a Tom Tom Via Live 120 off eBay, brand new for £125 about two weeks ago. Been using it practically daily and it's very good. The HD Traffic works excellently.
