Lo all

My garmin nüvi® 760 just packed in after many years of good service so I need to replace it asap. I had a quick call into Halfords today but they seemed pretty clueless as to what I was asking :)

As I am a courier I need a sat nav that will plan out the most efficient route if i type in muliple post codes. My old 760 did this really well although the only thing I can see that sounds similar is the ecoroute but I am not sure if that is the same thing?

Anyone offer any advice? Could really be doing with getting this sorted for tomorrow. Budget around the £150 mark.

hmmm you would think with my old sat nav being pretty good at this all the latest models would be well up to the task :(

Currently looking at a Garmin LIVE 2320LM

Going to see if I can try it out tomorrow before I buy it.

Sygic does this. It's a mobile phone app available on Android and iPhone and I note they include a number of courier firms among their customers.

I tried it out and it worked well. A few odd bits of routing but hopefully that will be ironed out soon. They have just announced that they will be changing the routing algorithm to use Tomtom HD Traffic and IQRoutes before the end of the year. It should soon be basically as good as Tomtom with the route sorting function you desire.

Also - the voice is very natural sounding with spoken road names and the very sensible "take the second left" rather than "in 300 yards turn left".
