I am thinking of getting one of these for my Dad, however at £150 are there any Sat Nav's out there worth buying? If not I'll just get something else and a Sat Nav another time, but if there let me know.:)

Thanks guys:)

Another £50 and you can snap up a TomTom One?. Quality little bit of kit, really chuffed with mine.

However, I've also heard good things about the Garmin ones. Noticed quite a few good deals on them in the national press lately.

Tom tom v2's where going for 160 a week or so ago, wouldnt get a garmin we had an i3 and it was pants, i know its the base model but it was very poor.

Navman F20 for £150, or TomTom One GB for £200....anything cheaper isn't worth bothering with IMHO, being noticeably harder to use. I prefer the TomTom to the F20 and would spend the extra myself, but try and get a go with both to see whether you think its worth spending more :)

Anyone have one of the Road Angels with sat nav ?

Another vote for the tom tom here, should probbably check if it works with your phone tho as the traffic stuff as good.
