Why ohh why to people always have their satnav on the screen, even when their making the same journey day after day long or short.

The only time I use it is when I know I'm going somewhere I don't know about.
but the amount of people I see on the way to work with the satnavs guiding them on the same journey day after day is getting ridicules.

I could understand it if god reconfigured the road layouts overnight but to use them to get to and from work every day seems stupid.

I know some have the traffic info now but come on I bet there's loads who don't yet still have the thing guiding them.................. WHY
 
or using it for the traffic reporting features - but I know what you mean people do seem to use them just for the sake of using them - breeds reliance and stupidity into people tbh
 
And how do you know their job doesn't include door to door visits, different venues on multiple occasions throughout the day. Dumb thread generalising the entire population who isn't like you.

Now go eat a Snickers before Mr T knocks your chimney down....fool!
 
How do you know they're doing the same journey every day? They may simply use the same stretch of road as the one you see them on. Or maybe once they turn off, they navigate through a busy city they don't know well, and thus need the assistance.

I do however loathe bumper-stickers on cars.

You ridiculous man! Also are you forgetting that many SatNavs have phone integration these days? They might just be using them for their phones.
 
I like the sat nav on to show me the road layout/direction ahead - dont use it for anything, just like the conformation (and to quick nav an alternative if reqd)
