SATA 3.0 cable?

Can anyone tell me if there would be one (or two) comes with the motherboard or a SSD? Or would I need to buy one myself? Cheers.

Isn't SATA backwards and forwards compatable?

ie there is no SATA2 or SATA3 cables, just SATA cables.

All SATA cables are the same. It's the speed of the interface which determines if it's SATA II or SATA III.

I haven't bought a motherboard that didn't come with one since before Athlon days. Usually they have two.

Edit : To be clear you won't need to buy one, unless for some reason the motherboard you pick doesn't have it, which I've never heard of. If you really want to check then do a search for the motherboard and unboxing, or find a review. Personally I wouldn't bother even checking

Right right...I thought SATA 3.0 would using a different cable. So standard SATA cable is fine then it's good to know.
