SATA Connection Order

Guys,

Just a quick one... I know I have to set up the boot sequence in BIOS to boot from CD as priority but do the SATA cables need to be in order on the motherboard or does it not matter?

+1 Should the power cables run both HDD and drives if I have enought connections or should they be seperate?
