SATA Data Conections - anyone changed there to 90*

Has anyone been able to change the end of there SATA DATA CABLE to a 90* from straight. I have some SAS to SATA but i need the SATA to be 90* but no one does them and an adapter is too big to fit in the drive stack.

I'm not sure what you are actually asking?

I've got utter bucket loads of SATA cables with a straight connector at one end, and a 90º at the other?

You'd expect that the SATA type connectors would be available to buy but I can't find them. I'd imagine they are some sort of IDC connector so if you can get one open you might be able to reterminate. It's not really something I'd like to do though as a slight wiring error could be nasty especially if you feed power down into a data line. Pop goes the hard drive.
