Sata drive not showing up in windows

So I have just installed a new agility 3 sad on a fresh install of windows.
I have the ahci driver enabled from the get go so it works fine in windows, it is connected to the 6gbps port on my asus p6x58d-e.

Now I have a sat drive also connected, but to the 3gbps port, it shows up in the bios, but not in windows - any ideas?

Any help is much appreciated!

Have a look in ControlPanel/Admin tools/computer management/disk management, can you see it there shaded out? Just allocate it if so.

Have you formatted the drive and allocated a drive letter?

If not then right click on My Computer, select manage, click on Disk Management then right click on the shaded unallocated drive space to format.
