I'm trying to make the floppy disc with the SATA drivers on by booting from the CDROM but when I try to create the disc it says "Drive not ready" as though the floppy drive isn't connected or something.

Anybody any ideas what could be causing it. The MB is the ConRoeXFire-eSATA2

Edit: When I download the drivers from the websie and put them on floppy disc the windows installed doesn't recognise that there is anything on the disc either.

The drive and the disc are fine, i used them wih another PC to get the drivers on to the disc to start with (when I downloaded them).

The CDROM is supposed to create one if i do it that way, otherwise if I download the drivers its just a standard zip file, the instructions say to extract all the files and folders to he floppy.
