SATA Drivers Question

Hey all. Hopefully this question isn't too stupid and I'll try to keep it brief.

When I built my last comp (Oct 2004), I had to install drivers for the SATA drive before I could get XP to install. I'm moving house so figured I'd reformat my comp just before so it is all nice and squeaky clean fresh for the new place. I'm thinking that when I reformat that I won't have to reinstall those drivers via floppy again but I could very easily be wrong. So, that's my question really, will I need to get hold of another set of drivers or can I thumb my nose at them when I reformat? Also, if I do need them, can you please tell me what ones they are again as I remember spending some time getting the right set off of the net the last time and I have no idea where the floppy is now. :)

Thanks for your help.

Depends on the mobo I had to use floppy for NF2 as it was a Silicon Sata Raid Controler but not for NF4 or NF5 as SP2 cover it till Im up and running then I install Nvidia drivers.
