ive got a number of sata devices, and the case doesnt make it easy to plug them all in, with the mobo having the sockets pointing to the side like they all seem to be now, instead of facing up off the board, anyone solved this issue?

Can you post a pic to give us a better idea of the problem?

Sounds like he is talking about how the sata connection on the motherboard is like this

instead of like this

Though in the first pic it is at an angle so you can essentially stealth your wires - better cable management but if you have a small case then it might be a bit tricky.

Well at least thats how i interpret the OP :o

That connector style has been becoming more common lately.
And trend probably continues because long graphics cards blocking normal connectors are so common and then some want to have more than one card for wasting power...
Another reason for getting actually big case with E-ATX support.

right angle sata cables?
Solves problem only half way. Half of the cables would need to have longer connector before angle.

beginning to think i should have bought a deeper case, but i love this one
the right hand connectors wont solve it, next time i upgrade mobo and cpu, ill mod the case, it wont take a lot to make more room, guys with this case must know what i mean, it has narrow slots to feed the sata cables through

I am about to build with this case and have almost all of my prep done. Can you take a pic of the issue you are having, as I can't quite figure out what you mean?

EDIT - just tried the board in my case (IP35 Pro) and I see what you mean. Lucky enough the SATA connections on the Abit board seem to be almost perfect, I only had to twist one of the cables to make all of them fit easily...

...now obviously if you need to fit all 6, then you will have to twist another cable, but it fits pretty well.

I think it could be easily overcome by cutting the top 2 cable openings into one large one.
