sata hard drive appears as scsi?

I only use one sata hard drive and it appears as scsi. Do I have to install a sata driver? I don't want to reinstall the operating system. I got the Asus pn5-d motherboard and Windows 7.

Don't worry about it, Windows has a habit of calling things SCSI if it's not sure what else to call them.

The only problem is I can't use S.M.A.R.T HDD monitoring.
