hey guys, i just recently decided to reinistall my brothers computer, but i'm having some problems trying to reformat the hardrive as windows can't detect it.
I know usually you have to use a floppy disc with the sata driver, but i don't have the discs or manual anymore, all the stuff that came with the motherboard are lost.
I'm only using one hardrive and i don't intend on using raid, do i still need to download some software inorder to get the sata hardrive to work?
I've been trying to find the drivers on asus's website, and i found the matrix storage driver but its only for the 64bit version and i need the 32bit version but they don't have any.
So i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what i need inorder for windows to detect my sata hardrive as this is giving me such a headache.
Specs are as follows:
intel p4 3.0ghz 775
asus p5gdc-pro
1gb ddr ram
120gb maxtor ( i think) sata hardrive
his 9800 pro
would appreciate any support.
