SATA on DS4

My DS4 board has 6 SATA connectors controlled by ICH8R and 2 controlled by Gigabyte SATA2. Are the first of these for RAID and the other 2 'normal' connectors? Considering I have just the one drive and no idea about RAID which connector should I be hooking up to?

Any port, makes no difference. Its gigabyte's raid or the intel matrix raid. I suggest updating the bios to F7 incase like me you have odd issues!

As you only have 1 drive just stick it in sata0 (orange one furthest from the purples) so it's on the Intel and forget about the raid/ahci bits, also stick with the F6 bios as F7 doesnt seem to be doing anyone any favours.
