SATA PCI RAID CARD HELP VISTA

Hi All
Can anyone recomend a 4 or 2 port pci sata raid card that will work in vista i have tried a silicon image 3114 4 port but no joy, i am trying to add more drives but not to raid them just storage

In what way didn't it work?
I've got three drives running of a SIL3114 card under Vista here

At a guess, you probably want to use the card's BIOS to make each single drive into it's own RAID array (Don't add anything else to this array) & Vista should then find them.

i have the card installed and it is recognised in vista but when i conect the drive to the card (not as boot drive ) the system will not boot ,

but when i start the system and conect the drive (hot plug) the drive is recognised as usable until i reboot and the system hangs until i unplug the drive
