sata psu

Hi,

I have a sata psu everything on it has sata connectors, I need to add a few molex's...

Is there a mod to do this? Is it easy?

Or will it not work because of the rails?

Please clarify...

A friend of mine, snapped off the end of his sata connectors and rewired them to a molex...good or stupid?

what about the orange wire ? a sata also has a orange wire? what do I do with this when connecting to a molex?

also how do I take the wires out of their socket without ruining them? and how do I put them back into the molex connector?

Finally, do I need certain specs i.e. rails on the PSU so it can handle the molex when connected?

i need to do it for a sata psu...there are only sata power connectors , no molex's at all...

once I replace a sata power connector with a molex I will use it to power up dvd drives and hdd's..

will it work ok?
