SATA Settings in BIOS

I have a Gigabyte GA-MA-790XT-UD4P and wondered if I should change the bios setting for the SATA controller from IDE to ACHI ? I have three options...IDE, RAID, ACHI

I have 2 x Samsung HD204UI 2tb HDD and its not clear if they do..or do not support this or even if its worth doing.

Set to ahci,its best incase you decide to add an ssd in the future,it will enable extra features like native command queing for your Samsung 2tb,all drives support ahci

you need to regedit your os so it wont crash when u enable achi in the bios
