Hi All
I have a few SATA drives I have lots of old photos on from years gone by. I have tried plugging them into my current PC through the standard sata cables etc, I can feel the disk start spinning however it doesn't show up in the BIOS. I have three disks that all worked the last time I checked them a year or so ago on an older computer (which I don't have now). I bought a USB to SATA cable off ebay and tried this however the disks don't even spool up with it and therefor don't show either. I have also tried this cable on two other laptops which don't fire them up either.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to why they are not showing on my PC when I plug them in through the sata cables or can recommend another usb to sata cable I could try?
Cheers
