Hi Guys,

Just a little oddity I’ve noticed when booting:
In the second post menu of my DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D, where it checks the CMOS etc. it says that my 2 Hitachi deskstar SATA HDD's are ATA 100. I thought this was a little odd.

I recently installed another HDD (Samsung spinpoint SATA) and it is registered on this screen as ATA133.

Surely they should all be 150?

Any idea why this is?

I think that the nForce4 SATA ports simulate IDE ports, IIRC this is also the reason you do not need to install the SATA drivers from the floppy when installing Windows.
